Theo chia sẻ trên mạng, người chồng tên là Hoàng Thụy Phi Vân, sinh năm 1974 tại xã Gia Tân 2 (huyện Thống Nhất, Đồng Nai). Anh qua đời vào ngày 5/3/2011, hưởng dương 37 tuổi. Điều đặc biệt ở đám tang của người đàn ông xấu số này là tình cảm của người vợ, chị Đỗ Hoàng Yến, dành cho chồng. Không vật vã trước sự ra đi của người chồng yêu dấu, chị chọn cách thể hiện tình yêu tha thiết của mình bằng cách hát ca khúc "Tìm lại giấc mơ" mà khi còn sống chồng chị rất yêu thích. Đứng trước linh cữu của chồng chị Hoàng Yến xúc động chia sẻ: "Cảm ơn cuộc đời đã cho em được gặp anh, cho em được làm vợ anh. Đó là khoảng thời gian hạnh phúc nhất đối với em. Đây là một bài hát anh rất thích...". Khi nghe chị Hoàng Yến hát, hầu hết những người có mặt tại đám tang đều không kìm được nước mắt. Ngay khi clip này được đăng tải trên mạng thì đã thu hút sự chú ý của hàng chục nghìn người. Nhiều bạn đã chia sẻ sự xúc động của mình với gia quyến chị Yến: "Xin chia buồn với gia đình chị trong video. Em thật sự rất xúc động khi nghe chị hát.
