Hours after upload, it was catching fire all over the internets. So today, and in a tribute of some sort, I present to you another Lady Gaga song, sung by the one and only. Up until now, I have been careful to be impartial to any party affiliation with these videos. Yes, Obama is blue, but the focus of the videos was not on his party or political views, but on that beautiful voice. So with this video, I know some of you will be wondering why I chose to promote the Affordable Care Act, a controversial bill that is surely a cornerstone of Obama's legacy. The reason is simple: I do not see the ACA as a partisan issue, for the universal right to healthcare simply should not be a partisan issue. It is as commonsense as our right to take the president's speeches and make him sing anything. This isn't Democrat or Republican. I'm promoting the ACA because it is a major attempt to give many Americans a chance at affordable coverage. So tell a friend. Tell them to try it out and give it a chance. And no matter what, make sure they are covered. If and when the unexpected happens-- and it does tend to happen-- they'll be thankful they signed up. And as always... more to come.
