Right in front of teachers, and the security cameras. And I just ran. I don't know where I was going. I didn't know how long it'd take me to get there. I didn't even know how long I was running. I was just running. And crying. God I feel like a chick. Why can't I be one of those insensitive guys that don't give a crap if they hurt a girl? One of those guys with no heart. I realised, that those guys, they have it easy. No matter how much they hurt a girl, it doesn't matter. The girls will still come for them, and in the end they don't get hurt. Ever. I used to hate those kind of guys, but at this moment, I wish I was one of them. If I was, my heart wouldn't be burning, and my eyes wouldn't be puffy. My mind wouldn't be blank, and my soul wouldn't feel broken. I'd be fine, messing around with my friends, and looking for a brand new girl. But like I said, I'm not one of those guys. Probably never will be. After about, I don't know how long, I just stopped. At the top of the biggest hill I have ever seen. I looked down at the path I had ran, and realised I was about 13 miles away from the school. 13. Did heartbreak give me super strength or something? Was it supposed to do that? No, I don't think so. I wouldn't know, this was kinda my first heartbreak.. Now I know why girls are so emotional. I sat down, breathing hard. I looked down, and I saw a road. I saw houses. I saw the ocean. I saw everything, except for the one thing I wanted to see. Julian. Julian Diamond Gonzales. She was a diamond. She sparkled and shined, she was beautiful. I don't know what I'm supposed to do without her. I really don't. *END OF POV* *EMiLY POV* I was in my room, studying. Like any other Friday. Lilliana was constantly texting me, telling me how much fun she was having with Nick. Apparently he had taken her to an ice skating rink and reserved it just for them. It was so romantic, and it only made me feel more alone. I called Natalie, and asked her about Julian. According to her, Julian had the offer out on the table for months, and had only told her parents about it. She wasn't going to take it, until she had that fight with Madison. She left early this morning without telling anyone other than her family, she wanted to see if Madison noticed her disappearance. He did. Everyone told her, and for the first time in her life, she seemed to have felt bad. Or, that's what Natalie said. I read the same page over for the two hundreth time before slamming my book shut and giving up. How? That was the only question I had. How. How could he not notice that I was perfect for him? How could he not notice that Julian shouldn't even be part of his life? And how does he still love her after these couple of years? After all the fights, all the tears. How is she still the one in his eyes? How does she do it? That's all I wanted to know. But why doesn't anyone have an answer? I could feel tears coming on, and I pushed them down.
